Are you the next Albert Einstein or Thomas Edison? Do you see something that can be made easier, faster, or more fun? Then invent something totally cool with the stuff you have laying around your house. Tell your parents your great ideas and work on them together! To get started, try these helpful hints:
- Cleaned out milk jugs or cartons are perfect for holding and scooping things. They can float too.
- Empty paper tubes are great connectors.
- Take old clothes and design your own fashions.
- Old newspaper can be painted and used as a covering.
- Fill empty cans with beads to make a
great noisemaker.
- Ask your parents for any other things
that aren’t being used to use as parts.
- Don’t forget your glue and tape
to stick stuff together.
- Remember to get your parents’
permission or help when
you need to cut things.
