Growing a great garden is easy and fun.  You will surprise your family and friends with the fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers that you can grow in a pot inside your house, or in your outside garden.  Ask your parents to help you with getting the following materials, and you can take it from there!  Make sure to read the directions on the seed packets, to ensure that your garden is getting the right amount of water and sunlight.

You just need:

• A cardboard egg carton
• Plastic wrap
• Soil
• 1 package of flower seeds (marigold, petunia, etc)
• A spray bottle of water

Here is how you get started:

• Use a spoon to place a small amount of soil into each egg cup.
• Make a small hole into each cup of soil.
• Place 2 seeds in each hole and cover with a light layer of soil.
• Mist with the water.
